International Padel Federation (FIP) is the governing body for padel worldwide, overseeing the sport across more than 70 national federations. Founded in 1991, FIP is responsible for setting the rules of the game, organising international competitions, and promoting padel's growth across all continents.FIP operates through its member federations, each managing the sport within their respective countries. The federation sanctions major tournaments such as the FIP World Championships, FIP Tour, and regional championships. It also maintains the official world ranking system for players, ensuring a standardised approach to competition worldwide. Through its work, FIP aims to achieve Olympic recognition and further professionalise the sport.
